The IR series of infrared gas detection sensors use the technique of NDIR (NonDispersive Infrared) to monitor the presence of Methane. This technique isbased on the fact that the gas has an unique and well defined light absorptioncurve in the infrared spectrum that can be used to identify the specific gas. Thegas concentration can be determined by using a suitable infrared source andanalysing the quantity of energy absorbed from the gas inside the optical path. It's suited for signal linearization and temperature compensation suited for instrument manufacturers without any specialist knowledge in IR technology. The IRNET-P sensor is equipped with incorporated electronics and firmware in order to provide an output that is linearized and temperature compensated. The analogue output can be set as: standard voltage type [0.4 V-2 V] dc (other voltages are available on request) SIL2 rated, for certified dependability (failsafe detection) Individual calibration and testing, for measurements you can trust Extended temperature range (-40 to +60 °C), for use in any environment Internal microprocessor, for advanced signal processing Standard industrial size, to fit existing detectorsFast T90 response time, for critical and lifesaving applicationsModBus or P2P digital communication, for ease of integrationSolid, rugged construction with stainless steel enclosureSignal versatility: voltage and optional bridge or pellistor outputPatented, longer optical path for better resolution and stability Standard industrial accepted negative or positive pinout
